Welcome to the CPR Song

Welcome to the CPR Song!

The CPR Song is supported by a lesson plan and workbook to help teach primary school children the lifesaving skills of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

The song has been developed in Wales with Jess and the Welsh Elvis. You can download all of the resources you need on this website – we hope you enjoy learning CPR through song!

Why did we develop the CPR Song?

Children love to sing and dance so there is no better way than to create a song to help children learn CPR! The CPR song was developed in line with current COVID Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines and will be updated as guidelines change.

The CPR song lesson plan gives clear instructions on how to deliver the CPR session, and is supported by a comic-style workbook.

All resources are available to download for free on this website.

I want to know more!

Each year, around 6,000 people suffer a cardiac arrest in Wales. There is evidence on how we can improve survival rates for those who suffer from a cardiac arrest by recognising the signs early, calling for help, performing CPR as soon as possible, and using a defibrillator quickly. This is why more people should learn CPR, without quick responses, a person could die. Any CPR is better than no CPR.
